I want to thank you for an absolutely wonderful yoga session for Erica's 13th birthday. We all loved class and the girls couldn't stop talking about it. I felt so good after class!
Laughing Buddha has been my happy place for almost a year now; after years of taking "yoga" classes at gyms and at the Y, I finally get what yoga is all about. Dawn and the lovely, diverse group of instructors at this studio not only teach the poses, but delve into the other limbs of yoga, including breathing exercises, meditation, and tuning into the greatest teacher you will ever have -- yourself! In the 10 months I have been coming to Laughing Buddha, I have been able to take my pick from a variety of classes from restorative and calming to extremely vigorous and energizing; there area also many workshops, guest speakers, and even a teacher training class available to deepen your practice, open your heart and mind! The instructors here love what they do, live what they teach, and have been so welcoming to this wandering soul; I feel like I've found another home in Laughing Buddha!
This is amazing. Thanks so much again and again for your class, your insight, your openness and your joy! This studio is the best thing going in Mill Creek. It is becoming so popular...and I keep inviting friends to come. But I like to do yoga in the presence of sweet spirits. Thanks again.
Thank you Dawn for having the yoga studio. It has given me so much already. I look forward to my journey this year. You, and Carrie have this impact on me, something was not expecting when I came into Laughing Buddha.
We are so lucky to finally have a yoga studio like this in the north end. The classes are all great and the staff treat you like family. I have been a fan of yoga for years due to the many health benefits and l feel fortunate to have such a wonderful studio right in my neighborhood. Thank you so much! I have been telling everyone!
Thank you so much for doing what you do! I absolutely love your yoga studio and the positive energy that the environment exudes. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. I am truly glad that my friend introduced me to this practice. I am beginning to see the inner workings of yoga throughout my life, both physically and mentally. I look forward to not only the classes, but also the mediation and workshops as well!
This is an amazing studio with a great yoga community! Everyone from the newest yogi to the wisest sage are made to feel welcome. The instructors are engaging and varied in their styles and the studio offers some fantastic workshops. Don't miss out on the special little spot in Mill Creek!
The instructor's are awesome, beautiful energy, great variety of classes. A very special place!
Anyone that takes Dawn's class will leave inspired by her teaching, her passion for life and her compassion for all.
I was shopping for the perfect yoga studio for months and then I stumbled upon Laughing Buddha and I have been hooked ever since. There is nothing pretentious about them. Dawn and the gang are sincere and passionate about yoga. It's all about community here. I felt like I was part of the family right away.
Thanks again for going out of your way to spend time with my group. There were a few people that struggled, but after taking your class told me they are planning on beginnining to take yoga classes. They all loved you and thought that your energy and patience made it easier for them to continue with the session. I look forward to returning to class and want to thank you for your studio
I loved your class. My husband and I went to dinner afterward and I couldn't stop talking about it. I think I was actually glowing!
Thanks so much. I have been telling everyone how great your class is. I will pass on your information to my friends.
I loved class! Is it possible that I could be feeling longer and tighter already (especially in my arms and upper torso), or is it just a very active imagination? Regardless, I am thankful and excited to begin yoga. Namaste.
So, I'm a longtime yogini and I returned to Seattle last year after a 10-year hiatus. I have been struggling to find a yoga 'home' that is in keeping with the real spirit of yoga. I missed my yoga community in Annapolis and have been on as search.
Well, I'm happy to report that I've found my new yoga "home" even though I've only visited once. Immediately upon walking in, I felt the 'vibe' with the warm colors, kitschy front door garden, friendly yogis and instructors. Off the beaten path, with no high-pressure, corporate feel, Laughing Buddha made me feel immediately welcomed. The class itself was a Sattva Soft and Gentle class which was amazing. The instructor was friendly, warm, lovely voice with a consistent message throughout the class. She played wonderful music and I left feeling refreshed and calm. I will be coming back many many times, even though it's a bit far from me. Thank you for creating such a loving, welcoming space for our practice.
We were in town for a girls' weekend, and wanted to find a yoga class. This was really close to where we were staying, and the teacher was great. We had 4 levels in our group, and I'm a yoga newbie. It was well structured, and had a great flow. It was fun to hang out with regulars, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves for an early morning class.
What a phenomenal yoga studio with such nice & helpful instructors! The studio is nice and warm, which I enjoy and feel I am able to be more flexible. First class is free! There are also donation based classes and sometimes they host yoga movie nights. Good location with a parking lot. Fun, challenging classes. In the level 2/3 class, we did a lot of wall work, including handstands. Really enjoyed my instructor! She gave us individual instructions to deepen our practice, as well as preparing a lesson plan, and had lots of knowledge to share with us.
Thank you for a beautiful class tonight! I skipped some fun, just to come tonight! I have my priorities...and chose the one my heart loves!
Hi Dawn! I wanted to share that tonight, in the support group that I lead, a woman was relating a very hard journey of personal discovery, and cleansing, and of learning to love herself. As she spoke it took me back to my hippy-dippy "Orange Sky" dream, and how much it (upon reflection) has helped me to love myself and where I am in my journey. And that of course made me think of you and your teaching, and of the blessing of that song. So I wanted to throw a big 'ol "I love you man!" at you. I really missed seeing you this summer, so will work to see you again next time we come up. Hope that your world is right where you want it to be right now.
So excited to have you! We still have members who remember your class from last year and LOVED it! :)
