A passion for dance and gymnastics in her youth first led Carrie to becoming an Ace certified aerobics instructor. Upon moving to Washington she discovered a much different type of movement called Yoga. Impressed with how this practice began to change her mentally as well as physically, she traveled to Rishikesh, India where she completed the Sattva Yoga intensive 300-hour teacher training. In 2012 Carrie finished a 200 hour training through the Samudra School for Living Yoga with Shiva Rea, the originator of Prana Flow® Yoga. Wanting to expand her yoga knowledge even more Carrie completed a 300 hour training with Leeann Carey founder of Yapana Yoga. Carrie has also had the privilege of studying Yin with Sarah Powers, Insight Yoga founder.
Carrie teaches a fun and energetic class with lively music that invites you into the flow and rhythm of your body. Through her inspirational readings and guided flow she takes her classes on a journey of self discovery. After all, 'We are all just walking each other home'~Ram Dass
